Succulent Party Favors

I created mini thank you flags for these cute tiny succulents as a party favor. I wasn't planning on posting about it but every time I visit a friend and see these growing succulents, I think of how nice it would be to share this with you. These succulent party favors are a great way to show a little love to your guests. Plus, it's nice to know that every time they water their baby plants or see it sitting in the windowsill, they'll be thinking you. :)

DIY: Holiday Gift Box

Turn a simple gift box into something fun. The holidays are just around the corner but it's not too late to spruce up that present. I repurposed glittery holly berries to give this box just the right amount of glam. I think it goes well with the gold flower vase I made for a friend. This look is also great for setting your white elephant gift apart from the rest. :)

DIY: Gold Edging

I am constantly writing notes all day so you can see how I fell in love with the bright and vibrant colors of this Astrobrights® paper block sample by Neenah Paper. I added a touch of gold edging to complement the fun colors. Here's to more note taking! :)

New Things to Come

I'm excited to see what the new year has to bring! :) If you're headed to a New Year's Eve party, here's a fun and easy way to wrap up a gift for the hostess.

Mini Envelopes

Don't go throwing away your old birthday bag fillers...reuse that tissue paper by scrunching it into a ball for a more uniform texture. Now it's ready to be folded into mini envelopes and much more.

For some gift wrapping ideas I did a while back, check out this colorful DIY.

DIY: Handmade Tags

Here's a fun way to spread some valentine love...handmade tags for that special someone. Use them as gift tags, book markers or wear the string as a simple, braided bracelet.  :)

DIY: Tiny Gold Gift Box

Great things do come in small packages...this little one is 3" x 2". :)

DIY: Tape It, Spray It, Frame It

Not sure what picture to frame? How about a shiny gold heart? With a little photographic tape,
scrap paper and spray paint, you can frame whatever your heart desires. My design was inspired
by a previous post. :)

DIY: Hand-painted Coasters

Here are some coasters I made over the weekend with one of my favorite colors, paired with a hint of gold. Looking to make your own? Have fun with acrylics and don't forget a waterbase sealer. :)

Glitter Graphic Notecard Tutorial

Here's a fun card that's great for wishing someone a happy birthday. And pair it with one of these
colorfully wrapped gifts. :)

Sealed with an Embossed Kiss

Here's an easy way to send someone special a personalized love note...sealed with your embossed kiss. It's better than lipstick...doesn't smudge and it has a raised texture. Give it a try. :)
Instructions are below.

Instructions:

1. Apply a thin coat of gloss to your lips.

2. Pucker up and give that sealed envelope a kiss.

3. Sprinkle embossing powder over kiss print and tap off.
Tip: Use a dry paint brush to remove any excess embossing powder.

4. Add a little heat...with an embossing heat tool.

5. Send it to someone special!

Paper Balloon Tutorial

A few of you asked how to make the paper ballon from a previous post and have inspired me to create
a tutorial. I'm glad to hear someone else is as excited about these cute paper balloons as I am! I hope
you enjoy making your own...let me know how they turn out. :)

DIY: Tissue Paper Gift Wrap

Brighten up those gifts with some colorful tissue paper. For added texture, scrunch the paper
into a ball before wrapping and decorating. :)

DIY: Cinnamon Spice and Everything Nice

Spice up that faux tree with some glittery, cinnamon-scented pine cones. These sparkly ornaments are
fun and fill the air with holiday cheer. Also, pair them with gold glass ornaments, as table decor.
