Black Gold
I received some amazing soap samples from Dali, founder of The Soap Kitchen, and was inspired by their Black Gold soap. It's made with activated bamboo charcoal and essential oils and great for healing and removing impurities. You have to try it! I was inspired to create this pretty soap dish...I can't get enough of this gold! :)
Succulent Party Favors
I created mini thank you flags for these cute tiny succulents as a party favor. I wasn't planning on posting about it but every time I visit a friend and see these growing succulents, I think of how nice it would be to share this with you. These succulent party favors are a great way to show a little love to your guests. Plus, it's nice to know that every time they water their baby plants or see it sitting in the windowsill, they'll be thinking you. :)
DIY: Holiday Gift Box
Turn a simple gift box into something fun. The holidays are just around the corner but it's not too late to spruce up that present. I repurposed glittery holly berries to give this box just the right amount of glam. I think it goes well with the gold flower vase I made for a friend. This look is also great for setting your white elephant gift apart from the rest. :)
DIY: Gold Edging
I am constantly writing notes all day so you can see how I fell in love with the bright and vibrant colors of this Astrobrights® paper block sample by Neenah Paper. I added a touch of gold edging to complement the fun colors. Here's to more note taking! :)
New Things to Come
Handmade Stocking Stuffers
A while back, my husband was experimenting with soapmaking. It was fun for a day but he soon realized he wasn't going to turn it into a hobby. He made a few batches and that was it. He considered tossing his only soaps but I decided to package them as tiny gifts as not to let them go to waste. Now this post will always remind us that he randomly made soap one day.

Mini Envelopes
Don't go throwing away your old birthday bag fillers...reuse that tissue paper by scrunching it into a ball for a more uniform texture. Now it's ready to be folded into mini envelopes and much more.

More Tiny Origami Confetti
There has been so much to celebrate lately, from birthdays to birth announcements, that I decided to make more tiny origami confetti to spread a bit of happiness. They fit great in cards or tucked away
in a friend's notebook for a nice surprise. I had tons of fun making these as much as I did for
DIY: Handmade Tags
Here's a fun way to spread some valentine love...handmade tags for that special someone. Use them as gift tags, book markers or wear the string as a simple, braided bracelet. :)
Thanks!
I want to give a big thanks for stopping by to see my latest projects. I wish everyone a happy and safe holiday as you celebrate with your friends and family. :)
Perfectly Imperfect
I Heart Origami
I recently returned from a trip to Japan and I already want to go back! I miss my jiji and baba (grandpa and grandma)...they're the greatest! :)
DIY: Tape It, Spray It, Frame It
Not sure what picture to frame? How about a shiny gold heart? With a little photographic tape,
scrap paper and spray paint, you can frame whatever your heart desires. My design was inspired
by a previous post. :)

Brighten Up That Vase
I love sunny days so I wanted to make something that would catch the sunshine and light up a room
with extra color and texture. It was fun adding some personality to plain glass vases I had in storage.
I love how now they don't need to be hidden in a cabinet...instead, they bring life and a little happiness
to a once boring window. :)

DIY: Hand-painted Coasters
Here are some coasters I made over the weekend with one of my favorite colors, paired with a hint of gold. Looking to make your own? Have fun with acrylics and don't forget a waterbase sealer. :)

Hand-printed Notecards
I'm always wanting to give out little notes, whether it's to say thanks or hello. I never seem to have
any when I need them so I created these notecards with a custom stamp that was inspired from
a previous post of mine. Each notecard has its unique print and is individually wrapped. :)

A Penny for Your Thoughts
I came across a copper bracelet that I haven't seen since I made it...about 8 years ago. Reading it made me realize that I sometimes forget to live by my own words. It's a good reminder...glad I found it. :)
Live life to the ultimate. No regrets. Have fun. Anything is possible.
